The PW Gives focus for February is to participate in the Souper Bowl of Caring, which began at Spring Valley Presbyterian Church, Columbia, SC on Super Bowl Sunday 1990, with a prayer at a youth group, “Lord, even as we enjoy the Super Bowl football game, help us be mindful of those without a bowl of soup to eat.” One way to do this is to bring soup or chili for the lunch. Other dishes are welcome as well. Between now and February 11, you can bring canned goods and place them in the bins in the narthex. You can also give money for Souper Bowl of Caring. These donations will go to First Presbyterian Church Soup Kitchen
