[GPCPrayer] Jean Markham's Niece, Sister

Jean I am so sorry to hear this I saw this in the paper and I felt so bad then .  But to know who they are and part of your family I just feel terrible!  Let me know if I can do anything!

Please pray for my niece, Carol Emery, especially.  Tuesday at 11:30  a.m. 
Carol and my sister Ona were assaulted and robbed as they were opening  their 
back door.  They apparently were followed home from the drug store or  grocery 
store.  Carol is blind.  The robber came up from behind and  grabbed both their 
purses.  Since Carol could not see, she thought her  purse was hung on 
something, so she held onto it.  She was dragged down a  ramp for several feet, 
receiving a dislocated shoulder, a broken wrist and a  gash on the head.  Since 
the gash was crescent-shaped, doctors think she  was kicked in the head.  
Arteries were cut and there was considerable  bleeding.  Had medical care been 
delayed, it could have been fatal.  
 
Thanks to God, she came home from ER after several hours, but may require  
surgery on her wrist.  Pray that her wrist will heal as she does medical  
transcriptions at home and it is vital that she be able to type.  Ona has  
congestive heart failure.  Pray for strength for her as she has to feed  Carol since 
one arm is in a cast and the other is immobilized due to the  shoulder injury.
