Subject: Prayer request

David, please put Laurel Ellis on the prayer lists for Grace and GB.  She is
the very active 91 year-old mother of a friend.  Her left kidney is totally
non-functioning, and there is a mass in the urethra.  Both the kidney and
urethra have to be removed.  Her cardiologist has ordered a thallium scan
before she has surgery because of a heart attack 12 years ago.  The
urologist is hoping to schedule the surgery around mid-August.
 
My friend, Gloria, is having a tough time trying to understand this, but she
knows we don't always know the "why".  Pray for Gloria that she be given the
strength and stamina that she will need and for her to be able to turn this
totally over to God so that she receives the peace that passes all
understanding.
